The clock read 9:51 PM, and the night sky was a shade darker than usual. A figure, encased in gleaming holy armor, strode towards the castle at the heart of the Royal Lands. This wasn't the lush, magical Royal Lands of Earth 135. This was Earth 531, a place with a grimmer, medieval feel. The knight, clad in chrome, ivory, and brass, clutched his matching shield and sword, nearing the castle where the tyrannical ruler of Mayland held court. This king, a cruel and perverted man, cared only for his own twisted desires. His partner in crime, Reverend Mother Eleonora Lopez, was equally sadistic. Together, they ruled Mayland with an iron fist. Many warriors, sages, and assassins had tried to end the “Lustful Tyrant’s” reign. None succeeded. Those who failed met a grim fate, especially the men, who became the tyrant’s “living dildos.” 

The knight reached the castle doors, ready to magically unlock them. But before he could, the doors swung open on their own. Cautious, but undeterred, he stepped inside, sword and shield ready. The castle’s interior was eerily quiet, but he remained on high alert, heading for the throne room. Suddenly, a woman appeared, her cream-colored skin and reddish-brown hair framed by a nun’s habit. It was Reverend Mother Lopez.

She held a candle and a holy book, her brown eyes cold as she faced him. Instinctively, he raised his sword. She chuckled softly. “If you hadn’t noticed,” she said, “I let you in. I also spelled the guards so you’d reach your target. But do you really think you can kill the king? Better men have tried, and they all suffered. The lucky ones died. If you want to proceed, be my guest. But your fate is sealed. The king’s in a good mood tonight; he might even grant you mercy. But anger him, and not even your god can save you.”

“Strange,” the knight replied, “that someone as corrupt as him would help me. Do you think this will redeem you, Mother Lopez? Your control over Mayland’s churches is disturbing, but you’re not my target. Once I deal with the tyrant, your punishment will follow. Step aside, unless you want your reckoning now.” 

“Foolish man,” she sneered. “You’re not worthy to judge me. I know your fate. I want you to face the king. It’s the only way you’ll learn your place. I would wish you luck, but I don’t want to give you false hope. The next time we meet, you’ll be a shell of yourself. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have prayers to attend.” Reverend Mother Lopez left, confident in the knight’s impending doom. 

He entered the throne room and found the king, a caramel-skinned cambion, naked on his throne, playing a handheld game with headphones on, a bowl of pineapple chunks beside him. The king had sensed the knight’s presence, but hoped his guards or the Reverend Mother would handle it. “Can we reschedule this whole ‘killing me’ thing?” the king asked. “I’m in the middle of a game, trying to beat my record. Do me a favor and leave.”

“Vile demon!” the knight retorted. “I’m here to end your tyranny. Many have tried, but I’ve prepared for this. I trust in my holy powers to defeat you.” 

“Cute monologue,” the king said, “but I’m serious. Leave, or—” Before he could finish, the knight struck, slashing the king’s abdomen. Intestines spilled out, and blood flowed like a waterfall. The king barely kept his game from falling, but his pineapples were scattered. The knight tried to strike again, but the enraged king kicked him away.

The king grabbed a handful of his intestines and ate them, regenerating instantly. His mood shifted from lazy to feral. He conjured a loincloth to cover himself, removed his headphones, and glared at the knight with demonic red eyes. “I gave you a chance,” he growled. “I know Eleonora let you in. I’ll punish her by making her cook me three pans of mac and cheese and some salmon. (Though I'll probably just annoy her till she does it.) Now, you’re gonna regret that you ever existed! (I know, cliché, but I'm mad.)”

The knight rose, charging the king. They clashed. The knight’s holy weapon was only half-effective against the half-demon. The king, now serious, showed the knight his power. He dodged and countered, mocking the knight, saying his god had abandoned him. The knight, losing his composure, made a reckless attack, leaving himself vulnerable. The king charged demonic energy into his fist, aiming for the knight’s head. The knight raised his shield, but the impact shattered it and ripped open his armor, exposing his genitals.

Humiliated, the knight covered himself. The king’s eyes widened with lust. “Hmm,” he said. “I thought you were useless, but you’ll make a fine ‘living dildo.’ I guess I’ll go easy on Eleonora. (Nah, I want that mac and cheese.) Everything serves King Onyx Carousel’s interests. (I know, third person, but it sounded cool.)” 

“I won’t become one of your playthings!” the knight yelled, grabbing his sword to kill himself. But the king took control of his mind, forcing him to drop the weapon. The king then telepathically positioned the knight, making him erect. Tears streamed down the knight’s face as he became another victim.

The next morning, after breakfast with the king and guards, Reverend Mother Lopez went to the basement to pray with the king’s “living dildos.” She sat among the broken men, then walked over to the newest addition, placing her hand under the knight’s chin. “I told you this would be your fate,” she said, smiling. “Now you’ll suffer for eternity.” She opened her Bible and read, “Damnation means ‘Condemnation’ for those who resist God’s authority.” 

Meanwhile, on Earth 135, King Onyx Carnival woke in a cold sweat, haunted by a dream of his alternate self, King Onyx Carousel’s actions. “So that’s one of the evil Onyx’s deeds,” he muttered. “I need to deal with that monster. But first, I need to compose myself. I have a kingdom to run.”

Royal Temper: King Onyx ignites a flame in his right palm. Upon doing so his hands become surrounded in a fiery aura. Allowing him to perform stronger variations of certain Special Attacks

UNIQUE ATTACK

Slay: King Onyx performs a forward moving cartwheel strike upon his opponent. It cannot be crouched blocked and can be linked with various special attacks. The con is that it's one of Carousel's slower attacks and thus can be easy for the opponent to anticipate

SPECIAL ATTACKS

1. Burning Moon: King Onyx hurls a sphere shaped fiery projectile at his opponent

2. Inferno Knuckle (In Air): King Onyx ignites his right fist in flames and dives towards his opponent

3. Raging Dahlia (Only Accessible When Royal Temper Is Active): King Onyx Carousel creates a sphere of fire in his palm which grows massively in size. Onyx then chucks the gigantic but slow moving fireball towards his opponent. While this projectile can be reflected by opponents who possess such abilities. Raging Dahlia will beat out most projectiles against it

4. Inferno Driver (Only Accessible When Royal Temper Is Active)/Airborne: King Onyx envelopes his body in ferocious flames and dives towards his opponent with a maddening speed

NOTE: Both Raging Dahlia and Inferno Driver are special attacks only accessible when Royal Temper has been activated. Raging Dahlia replaces the Heavy Punch command for Burning Moon and Inferno Driver replaces the Heavy Punch command for Inferno Knuckle respectively. Once either attack has been performed by King Onyx Carousel. In order to use either attack once again, King Onyx must first perform his trait skill once again 

5. Psychic Knuckle: Onyx performs a speedy but short-ranged punch infused with psychic energy

6. Spiral Psychic Knuckle: Infusing his fist in psychic energy. Onyx performs an vertical lined uppercut strike 

DIVINE RUINATION

Raping Tyrant/Flaming Infliction: King Onyx ignites his body in flames and charges towards his opponent at a maddening speed. Striking his opponent and knocking them into the air. Onyx Carousel leaps into the air as well to meet his opponent. Onyx then performs a flurry of supersonic speedy punches with each blow driving the opponent towards the ground. Once the opponent has been driven down to the ground. Onyx picks up the opponent and with his bare hands rips them in half 

Flame Coronation (RPG Themed Attack): King Onyx Carousel performs a spell that enhances ALL fire based techniques for both himself and his allies for five turns

BACKSTORY

King Onyx Carousel is a devious Cambion who currently rules over Mayland of Earth 531. Conceived by the union of a Grim Reaper and a Holy Woman, the day of his birth would prove to be a day of misfortune. While the love between his father, Maximillion Knox, and his mother, Rosemary Sahi, was genuine,  despite one being a demon and the other a human, Rosemary's fellow Holy men and women detested the relationship. Because of Rosemary's position within the Church, they decided to allow the tainted relationship to take place, knowing good and well it would backfire in due time. Upon Rosemary trying to give birth to her baby boy, the Holy Woman experienced an unearthly degree of pain. This was because the infant possessed too much demonic and holy powers within him, causing a chaotic imbalance to take place within his mother's womb that was killing her. 

Fearful of losing his wife, Maximillion attempted to save her by performing a ritual. The ritual involved extracting a portion of his son's powers into a host of his choosing, which ended up being a demon from his home realm of The Underworld. While the power extraction was successful, unfortunately it wasn't enough to save Rosemary, and she died upon giving birth to their son. Enraged by the loss of his lover, Maximillion attacked the Church. This forced the residents to combine their holy powers to destroy the scornful Grim Reaper. All had gone according to plan of the rest of the residents of the Church. All that was left was to deal with the filthy Cambion child. The people of the Church considered killing the infant upon birth, but decided against it and begrudgingly took care of him until they could find a more humane way to get rid of him. When Onyx reached his second birthday, he was sold to a man in Rogue Town by the name of Telford Roux. This was the beginning of a hard life for Onyx that would shape his perception of life forever.

Living under the tyranny of his handler. Onyx faced physical, sexual, and mental abuse from the sadistic witch. Telford trained Onyx in using his demonic powers as he grew older, ensuring the boy would act as a shield of sought whenever he and Telford ventured out to perform whatever nefarious schemes Telford had in mind. Many sages tried to apprehend Telford, but the powerful young Cambion, Onyx, slayed whoever dared to oppose his handler. One day, however, a group of skillful sages led by a man named Tobirama Senju found Telford and Onyx. Onyx and Telford tried their best to kill Tobirama and his allies, but Tobirama's team proved too much for the duo as Onyx was subdued and Telford was slain. Feeling sorry for the young Cambion, Tobirama showed Onyx mercy and decided to attempt to reform the young half-demon. Unfortunately, Onyx had witnessed the worst of mankind and his mind was already altered by his upbringing. No amount of rehabilitation could possibly repair the damage that's already been done to Onyx's morality.

Onyx was recruited to Tobirama's guild, much to his and the other members' chagrin. Despite having a less than stellar beginning, Onyx grew to admire his fellow comrades. He particularly became close to fellow guild member Donovan Storm. Tobirama and his guild worked directly under Mayland's then-ruler, Queen Idaline, who had a complicated relationship with Tobirama stemming from their childhood. The Queen wasn't fond of the idea of Tobirama having Onyx among his guild, let alone the fact that he spared the half-demon's life instead of killing him along with his former handler. Still, because of her unique relationship with Tobirama, that went past any common formalities, Queen Idaline trusted Tobirama's judgment while keeping an eye on the troubled half-demon. Things remained amicable between Tobirama's team and the Queen until that very fateful day. 

While over time Onyx proved to be an asset to Tobirama and the other guild members, Queen Idaline still did not trust him. She had an important mission that she wanted Tobirama and the others to handle for her in Apatite City. However, she did not permit Onyx to join Tobirama and his team. Instead, she sent Onyx on a separate assignment in Arundel. Onyx successfully completed his mission in Arundel. Upon returning to Mayland, he learned the unfortunate news that Tobirama, Donovan, and his other guild mates had died during their assignment in Apatite City. Enraged, Onyx disappeared and began preparing his revenge against Queen Idaline. Blaming the Queen's racism towards him because he was part demon. If only he had accompanied Tobirama and the others to Apatite City, things may have turned out differently. However, the past cannot be undone and for that, Queen Idaline must die! Thankfully, the next Devilry Combat Tournament was right around the corner, giving Onyx the perfect opportunity to kill the Queen.

A month later, Queen Idaline prepared to defend her crown for the thirteenth time as the Devilry Combat Tournament commenced. Onyx entered the tournament, much to Idaline's dismay, but she trusted that he wouldn’t get far into the tournament. Onyx, however, proved stronger than she anticipated as he defeated all sages, knight and brawler he was put up against. Concerned that Onyx might prove to be a threat to her reign, Queen Idaline plotted to have Onyx assassinated during the tournament's downtime. Fortunately for Onyx, a mysterious Holy Woman by the name of Eleonora Lopez had been watching the events unfold from the sidelines. Eleonora was a nun who felt the Church had become corrupt via money and politics, and abandoned the teachings of God. Thus, she planned to aid Onyx in order to use him to gain control of the Church once he became Mayland's newest ruler. 

While Onyx slept unaware of the attempt on his life, Eleonora confronted his would-be assassin and mercilessly dispatched of him. The next day, Onyx reached the semi-finals and defeated his final opponent before facing off against Queen Idaline. Shocked that Onyx not only defeated his final opponent, one of the most renowned sages in Mayland, who most believed would be the one to challenge Idaline for her crown, Queen Idaline wondered who intervened on Onyx's behalf.. She knew from observing his battle that Onyx never encountered his intended assailant.

Furious, Queen Idaline's emotions got the best of her, so instead of waiting the following day to battle Onyx, she challenged him on the spot, hoping that the half-demon wouldn’t be one hundred percent because of his previous battle. Thus, an easy victory for her. Queen Idaline soon realized the folly of her decision. Despite some exhaustion from his previous battle, because Onyx had such powerful blood running through his veins, Onyx overcame Idaline's many fierce attacks and ruthlessly ended her life. 

Having avenged Tobirama, Donovan, and his other former guild mates because of Idaline's carelessness  Onyx then became Mayland of Earth 531's 126th ruler. Normally, such a role would frighten him because he didn’t have the experience nor did he ever have the desire to become a ruler. However, prior to his bout in the semi-finals, Onyx met face-to-face with Eleonora, who revealed her intentions and mentioned that she had slain the assassin sent to kill him. While Onyx detested all things related to the Church, he knew he could trust Eleonora or, at the very least, she was his best bet of having competent rulership. Upon becoming Mayland's newest ruler, Onyx made Eleonora his right-hand woman and elevated her from nun to Reverend Mother. 

The citizens of Mayland were outraged upon learning that their new ruler was a fucking half-demon, and began to revolt. Unfortunately for them, between Onyx's raw power and Eleonora's sadistic wits, the newly formed duo proved more than what the Mayland citizens could overthrow. Realizing that he would always be hated because of his half-demon blood, Onyx gave up all notions of being a loved and caring ruler. Instead, he become a tyrant, only caring about his own needs and, of course, Eleonora's. Despite their back and forth usually going in Eleonora's favor, she was the only real friend Onyx had now in this shitty fucking world. Before his tragic death, Tobirama did his best to reform Onyx but, at the end of the day, Onyx was raised by Telford Roux. Thus, Onyx would be a merciless ruler who had no qualms in taking whatever he desired, which included attractive men regardless of their sexuality or relationship status. It didn’t matter since he was now King and he made the rules.

TRIVIA

King Onyx Carousel is another Onyx variant but obviously one of evil intentions 

While in the Onyxverse there are a variety of different Onyx/Onyxes throughout various worlds, King Onyx Carousel is the dark mirror of Onyx Carnival of Earth 135. This is because of an origin similar to his, but it took a much darker turn, which was the foundation for Carousel being the sadistic ruler he is today

King Onyx Carnival embraces more of his human side whereas King Onyx Carousel embraces more of his demonic side. Thus, having the default eye color of red for a being with demonic blood whereas King Onyx Carnival has two different eye colors, one sky blue and the other one green

While King Onyx Carousel has a catalog of abilities as a demon, Carousel is well-versed in hand-to-hand combat, particularly using Greco-Roman style wrestling 

The blue and green wrist and ankle bracelets that King Onyx Carousel wears are the same colors of King Onyx Carnival's eyes
