BIO

Billie and her elder twin sister, Tillie, are the daughters of Queen Yolanda of The Plum Fairy Tribe. Since birth, both girls were raised in preparation of taking their mother's throne once they reached an appropriate age and earned her approval. Growing up in privilege, both girls always received the utmost respect from their fellow fairies among their tribe. However, Billie, the darker skinned sister, was not as popular as her light-skinned sister, Tillie, who was more favored by the people; mainly because the fairy tribe folk found Billie intimidating in appearance especially as she grew older. Tillie looked as sweet as strawberry cheesecake and dressed in bright colors in contrast to Billie who wore gothic fashion. Little did the other fairies know that Tillie looked down on them, awaiting the day she took over her mother's throne to make them do as she commanded without resistance. Billie, on the other hand, loved her fellow fairy people despite knowing how some of them felt about her. Billie remembered a quote she read in a book written by a human, "never judge a book by its cover" and made it her personal mission to prove that one's appearance didn’t dictate their overall being. Billie continued dressing in goth and grunge fashion while heeding her mother's lessons in preparation for becoming Queen. 

Many years passed and Billie and her sister reached early adulthood. Mayland went through a lot of crises during that time, especially the biggest one, the Five Year War, which was started by the evil God Akodomal who wanted to wipe all life in the Mortal Realm from existence. Fortunately, Queen Yolanda protected her people by strategically sending her battle fairies to defend her Queendom and aligning herself with powerful allies to preserve her people's safety. Having been a Queen for over 3,000 years, Yolanda was finally ready to hand over her crown to one of her daughters. Tradition dictated that the elder child received the crown. However, while Yolanda loved both her daughters very much, she knew that Tillie was ultimately unfit to succeed her because of her elder daughter's vain and haughty personality. Whereas Billie, certainly no pushover, possessed the needed qualities of a good and fair ruler. Yolanda announced her retirement and let her people know that she chose Billie to become the next Queen. Naturally, Tillie was furious since she had big plans on becoming the next ruler of The Plum Fairy Tribe. 

Enraged by her mother's decision and her anger towards Billie reaching a fever pitch, Tillie, alongside a few of the fairies loyal to only her, began plotting to assassinate Billie the day of her coronation. Tillie contracted a pair of siblings who were guns-for/hire named Maxine and August Starfinder. Upon meeting the hired guns, a romantic connection between Tillie and Maxine developed. The day of Billie's coronation arrived and she was only hours away from becoming the newly crowned Queen. Upon seeing their target, Maxine felt nothing for Billie and was ready to off her. However, when August first laid eyes on the beautiful dark-skinned fairy, the gunman felt conflicting emotions, which ultimately led to him deciding that they could not go through with assassinating Billie. Even if that put him at odds with his elder sister. 

Moments before Billie was to be crowned Queen, a man dressed like a cowboy jumped in front of her. Two bullets that were intended for her ended up striking him. Billie learned that this man was none other than August Starfinder, one of the two gunmen hired by her envious sister to assassinate her. The gun was fired by August's elder sister, Maxine. August laid on the ground slowly bleeding out. Billie quickly acted by demanding her coronation be put on hold while she aided August, who was slowly dying. Tillie was nowhere to be found. Billie believed her sister must have run away with Maxine, knowing that she would no longer be welcome among her people after scheming to have her sister killed.

Billie used her blood to save August's life. With fairy blood running through his veins, it not only accelerated his healing but gave him fairy-based abilities. After learning the truth behind her would-be assassination from August, her fellow fairies wanted to turn August over to the local authorities. However, Billie decided to show the man mercy and made him promise to change his ways. August took heed and vowed to no longer use his gifts for mischief. Shortly afterward, Billie became the official Queen of her people. She did her best to be a wonderful ruler. Someday she will have a child of her own to rule in her place.

TRIVIA

1. Billie was inspired by the Yu-Gi-Oh monster "Mystical Elf".

2. Billie also takes inspiration from the dark-skinned Black beauty, which is often severely undermined in everyday society.

3. Billie and Tillie are twins with Billie being dark-skinned and Tillie light-skinned. While colorism does not exist on Earth 135 where Billie and her sister are from in a traditional sense, Billie was always viewed as "mean" and "intimidating" by her fellow fairies while Tillie was seen as "sweet" and "welcoming" because of her much lighter complexion. However, it's Billie who has the more welcoming personality while Tillie only cares about herself and what others can do for her.

4. Billie also takes inspiration from goth and grunge aesthetics.

5. Billie first met Othello while attending a heavy metal concert in Rogue Town. Despite Othello not having many female friends, both women hit it off quite well and have been very social friends since. They message one another on Pictagram at least twice a week.

6. While Billie is a fairy first and foremost, ethnicity-wise she, her mother, sister, and fellow fairies would be viewed as Afro-Latinos.

7. Although Billie mainly listens to heavy metal and rock music, she is a fan of the half-human/half-fairy pop star, Trickie Mirage.

BACKSTORY

Prior to becoming a respected Bounty Hunter, August was once a gun for hire working with his elder sister, Maxine. Taught by his father at a young age how to use a gun efficiently and the value of money, August knew that both he and his sister would follow in their father's footsteps and become hitmen when they reached legal age. Years later, after their father lost his life at the hands of a heroic Cambion, Maxine and August joined a weapon users only guild. They received missions from multiple shady businessmen to handle various oppositions to their ambitions. Eventually, after becoming discontent by the mediocre payouts because of members having to split the profit, Maxine convinced August to leave their guild and become a duo, allowing them to make a bigger return from mission payouts. Over the years, despite his beliefs, August began to dislike the life of being a lackey. Maxine realized that her brother was going "soft" on her and knew that she needed to make sure he aided her in completing one final assignment before she cut him off cold turkey. The Starfinders received a request to assassinate a fairy by the name of Billie, who was going to become the next Queen for her fairy tribe. August agreed to help Maxine one final time before they went their separate ways.

The two siblings arrived at their destination the next day as the ceremony began for Billie to become the next Queen for her tribe of fairies. Queen Billie would succeed her mother, Yolanda, as the next Fairy Queen of the Plum Fairy Tribe, a group of fairies located at a reservation between Texas and Mexico. Upon seeing the dark-skinned gothic-dressed future Queen, August began to feel conflicted. He couldn't bring himself to kill such a lovely woman unprovoked. Even though the reward money was generous, August began to struggle within about going through with the mission to assassinate Billie. Right before it was time to kill Billie, August finally met the individual who hired him and Maxine to take out Billie. It was none other than Billie's twin sister, Tillie, who was a light-skinned fairy dressed in a typical princess theme. Tillie wanted Billie dead, so that she, by default, would become the next ruler of the Plum Fairies. Making matters worse, Maxine and Tillie were lovers and Maxine had a backdoor deal with Tillie to handle August after the job was complete. Not to necessarily kill him, but to ensure that he wouldn't expose the truth behind her sister's assassination.

Despite not knowing Tillie and his sister's plot against him, August knew right at the moment of meeting the selfish Tillie that he could not allow Billie's assassination to come to fruition. Right as the ceremony began and Billie was in a vulnerable position, Maxine searched for August who had gone MIA the moment he was needed most. Refusing to be bothered by her brother's sudden disappearance, Maxine had Billie right in her sight as she was about to pull the trigger. August appeared as Maxine shot two bullets towards Billie. August managed to position himself in front of Billie in the nick of time. A bullet struck August's abdomen and another struck near his heart. Realizing that her brother had fucking betrayed her by sacrificing himself for the intended target, Maxine quickly made her exit before she became swarmed by the Fairy warriors. Tillie, angered by the failure of Billie's assassination, decided to leave everything behind and chase after Maxine.

August was losing blood fast and wasn't going to live much longer. Billie and her subordinates acted quickly and sent August to the infirmary. Shortly afterwards, Billie performed a spell that transferred the necessary amount of her own blood into August in order to save the mortal's life. The spell was a success. All Billie needed was rest to regain her strength. August, on the other hand, because he now had fairy blood in his body, received minor physical changes such as his eye color turning from a normal blue to baby blue and his dirty blonde hair became ash blonde. After the commotion settled and Billie was officially Queen, the new Queen confronted August and asked him how did he know to save her when he did. August revealed that he and his sister were hired by Tillie to assassinate her; however, August had a change of heart and sabotaged the mission. Billie, while rightfully angry with him, couldn't bring herself to hate him or turn him over to the authorities. Instead, the Queen made August promise to right all the wrongs in his life by using his talents to help others and to defend the good of the Mortal Realm. Appreciating the display of mercy and kindness shown to him, August swiftly turned his life around. It wasn't long before he became a respected Bounty Hunter and a future legendary hero of the Mortal Realm.

TRIVIA

1. August Starfinder was the first male character I officially created for FORBIDDEN.

2. While August Starfinder is 100% my creation, I did receive help from my friend, Devon, to properly draw the character to life since I had a hard time drawing a cowboy type character.

3. August is bisexual, but does have a preference for women.

4. August's name is inspired by the month I was born.

5. August is one of the core six heroes, which consist of Hellin, Orsela, Trevyn, Lea, Scylla, and himself.

6. August takes minor influences from the Mortal Kombat character Erron Black.

1. Fairy Shot - Starfinder unleashes a pink energy bullet from his gun. Starfinder can also use a move called Double Fairy Shot where he fires two pink energy bullets one from each gun

2. Mesmerize - Starfinder creates a yellowish pink aura around himself that temporarily confuses his target

3. Sun Shot - Holding his guns together Starfinder fires out a single but powerful yellowish orange energy blast from his gun

4. Star Slider - Inspired by Mortal Kombat's Erron Black. Starfinder performs a speedy slide attack which knock down his foe

5. Heal Shot - Starfinder shoots a whitish pink energy blast at his ally recovering a portion of damage they may had received in battle

6. Rapid Fire - Starfinder unleashes a barrage of bullets against his foe(s)

7. Seduction Dance - Starfinder can do a sexy male stripper like dance that has potential to arouse his foe. It depends on their attraction to Starfinder and does not work on everyone

8. Falling Star - Starfinder shoots a bullet into the air only for it to come crashing down on his opponent covered in a fiery pink aura

9. Air Killer - Starfinder while in mid air fires several shots at his foe(s)

 August Starfinder a former hitman turned into a respected bounty hunter. Born & raised in Miasma, Texas by his father alongside his older sister Maxine. The two would follow their father's footsteps and become guns for hired. One day August was recruited by his sister to aid her in killing a fairy by the name Billie. Unknown to him at the time that his sister was having an affair with Billie's twin sister Tillie. Who wanted her sister dead so she would become the new Queen of the fairies. While August was only in it for the money but upon learning the true reason behind his sister wanting Billie dead. August turned on his sister to protect Billie and ended up getting shot by her. Maxine running off with Tillie after being discovered and leaving her brother for dead. Billie used a special blood transfusion magic in order to save August's life. After that faithful day August decided to change a new leaf and put his talents to better use. No longer a gun for hire August is now a loved and respected Bounty Hunter by the people of Texas

August was saved thanks to the divine magic of Fairy Princess Hessie. Which not only saved him from dying but granted him magical powers in the process. Now with his new found powers August continues to deliver his unique brand of justice
