FORBIDDEN - Battle Stories Vol. 1

FORBIDDEN - Battle Stories Vol. One

By Onyxe Blade

Within the seventh level of The Underworld, the home realm of demons and other tainted beings. Tasked by Lady Johanna, the Demon Warlord of Pride and leader of the other Demon Warlords, Hellin Strongs could be seen donning her custom made red body suit that she received from her friend Princess Lea Stallard a few months prior. Hellin has been ordered to deal with a barnacle type demon named Colesta (Pronounced CO-LEE-STA). The demon Colesta has been feeding on the life force of the ancient giant demon tortoise of the seventh level of The Underworld. While it's only natural for demons to attack one another for various reasons, such actions against the ancient giant demon tortoise is forsaken and demons violating such rules must be harshly deal with. Upon arriving at the location of the demon tortoise, Hellin spots her target. A naked palish-green skinned demon with scales and barnacle features around her arms, abdomen, and thighs. Witnessing the demon tortoise's life force being drained by Colesta, Hellin swings her blonde hair out from her face as she conjures up a fireball in her left palm. Immediately Hellin hurls her fireball towards Colesta. While focused on feeding on the demon tortoise, Colesta senses the incoming attack and swiftly moves out of harm's way. Seeing her attacker across from her.

Colesta: Wretched bitch! How dare you interrupt my feeding? I will kill you!

Hellin: Shut the fuck up you loathsome cunt! Don't you have any fucking shame? Attacking the sacred giant tortoise of our home realm?

Colesta: Shame? Why would I feel shame for doing what comes natural to a demon? Furthermore, who are you to judge me? Daughter of Queen Othello! How many shameful acts does your mother perform on a daily basis?

Hellin: I'll rip your fucking head off if you mention my mother in such a manner again.

Colesta: Isn't that what you came here to do anyways. So why would I even bother mincing my words against you, Princess?

Hellin: You would have received a more dignified death before but now that you pissed me off! The death you'll receive will be anything but dignified.

Wasting no time, Colesta releases a turquoise colored acidic spray from her body towards Hellin. Easily dodging the enemy's attack, Hellin counters by blasting several fireballs towards Colesta. Quickly, Colesta unleashes a yellowish green foam substance from the pores of her body. The foam quickly hardens into a solid ball and protects against Hellin's fiery attack. Intrigued by her opponent's orthodox form of battle. Hellin decides to use her telepathic powers, not to take control of Colesta's mind but in order to get a better understanding of the target's combat capabilities. After all, if Hellin wanted to make this quick she could have already mentally enforced her will onto Colesta. Instead she wants to enjoy destroying her opponent with sheer force. Seconds later, Colesta breaks out from her created defense. Now with a more demonic and grotesque form than her prior appearance, the barnacle demon stares ferociously at Hellin with the desire to annihilate her. Hellin stares back with an unbothered expression on her face upon seeing Colesta's full demonic form, knowing full well this battle is about to end before it even started

Colesta: You stupid bitch! I'm going to drain the very fucking life out of your body but first... I'M GOING TO MAKE YOU WISH YOU NEVER CAME TO EXISTENT!!! TIME TO DIE!!!

Colesta charges at Hellin with the spores on her body, sprouting out several tentacles like appendages ready to strike. Hellin responds by igniting both of her hands in blueish yellow flames and leaping into the air. Colesta manipulates her tentacle-like appendages to strike the airborne Hellin, but fails to strike her as Hellin moves towards her like a torpedo. Colesta attempts to create a defensive foam around her body once again. Before she has the chance, Hellin crashes on top of her and pins her down in a provocative position

Hellin: Time to put an end to this.

Colesta: Yes for you!

Colesta release a toxin from the holes of her body onto Hellin but is horrified upon realizing her poison has no effect on the Princess. Hellin looks down at her with an amused wicked smile.

Hellin: Did you try to poison me? Oh you poor stupid bitch! I would explain why such tactics are useless against me but you lived long enough. Time to die!

Using her fiery infused fist, Hellin starts mercilessly beating on Colesta until she is no more. Afterwards Hellin checks on the Giant Demon Tortoise and ensure that he is alright, Now with her mission completed she makes her way back home to Babylon.

Meanwhile in Mayland, a place in the Mortal Realm, the home of both magical and normal humans, beasterians, orcs, fairies, goblins, and other unique beings, news of a fiery entity attacking unsuspecting citizens around Arundel and the Royal Lands has reached Mayland's current ruler, King Onyx. After collecting information on the various attacks, Onyx and his Royal Guards--particularly Yura Mikan-- have discovered that this fiery entity was none other than a Soucouyant, a terrifying being known through Caribbean Folklore that can shapeshift from a woman to a ball of fire. Initially Onyx considered to have Hellin, Orsela, and Scylla handle it. However, Yura demanded of her King to allow her to handle this matter. As night falls, a fiery entity is sneakily floating around The Royal Lands in search of its next victim. A blizzard suddenly appears from out of nowhere and hits the fiery entity. Immediately, the entity transforms into an African looking woman with long black hair and wearing a brown cloak. The blizzard ceases and appears a Japanese woman with short white hair and dressed in a black custom business suit. The Japanese woman stares at the shapeshifter with her cold icy blue eyes but her posture is relaxed. The Japanese woman then began to speak

Yura: So, you're the Soucouyant that's been causing trouble in Arundel and The Royal Lands?

Soucouyant: Ho- How did you track me down?

Yura: Your pattern was too predictable, but even if you were more clever it would not have mattered. I excel at always finding my target and you're no exception.

Soucouyant: Overly confident snake! You may be strong, but you will share the same fate as my other victims.

The Soucouyant transforms into a fiery humanoid being and lunges straight towards Yura. Without much effort, Yura dodges the Soucouyant's ferocious strikes, merely toying with her opponent using her advanced ninjutsu based movements. Angered, the Soucouyant says to Yura "Stop running away you coward!" as she continues trying to strike Yura.

Yura: Are you upset that you actually have to earn your kill instead of sneaking up on unsuspecting victims? I have no intentions of making this easy for you. Now foul creature show me what you're really capable of?

Soucouyant: Oh you're starting to piss me off with that belittling voice of yours. I would have preferred to feast upon your blood but burning you alive will have to suffice.

The Soucouyant, while in her flamed humanoid state, holds out both of her hands and unleashes a stream of fire towards Yura. The stream of fire moves at lightning speed and before Yura could make an attempt to run, her body is blasted by the flames. Soucouyant watches as the arrogant woman is being burned alive. Or so it seemed. Transforming back into her human form, the Soucouyant wears a perverse smile as she watches Yura being burned alive, blissfully unaware of the fact that she wasn't fighting the actual Yura but instead her shadow clone. Suddenly, the Soucouyant cries out in agonizing pain as she is struck from behind her back by an icy sharp object. Falling to the ground as blood drips down from her body, the Soucouyant turns her head and sees Yura standing over her looking ominously with a blade shaped icicle in her hand. The Soucouyant says in a shocked manner "Ho-- how are you here when I just burned you? What are you?"

Yura: Did you really think something like you would be able to kill me so easily? I awaited in the shadows while you fought my clone the entire time. I used my blizzard I created earlier to create my clone before hiding myself. Waiting for the right moment to finish you off! Now it's time for me to put an end to you.

Soucouyant: PLEASE WAIT?! I'm sorry for what I did and I deserve to be punished. However, isn't killing against the moral code against a hero like yourself? Truly you wouldn't actually kill me?

Yura: Hmph! You're funny. I do not subscribe to such a code and I personally think only fools spare the lives of monsters. No mercy was granted to any of your five victims which included a young boy. It only seems fair to give you the same treatment as you have given those you have harmed. Now choose your final words carefully for they will be your last!

Yura kills the Soucouyant by decapitating her head. Yura then calls Onyx via cellphone and asks her King to teleport to her location and bring her back to the castle.

Two days later after Yura had executed the Soucouyant, Onyx had received yet another unwelcome visit from his alternate universe self, Unloyal with a task from him. Normally Onyx wouldn't bother assisting Unloyal with anything since it was either trouble or straight up waste of his time. However after Unloyal explained to him about a situation in Earth 97 about a young soon-to-be King named Chiazam needing help dealing with his bigoted father in order to ensure a safe future for himself and the kingdom he is to inherit. Onyx, while empathetic to the strife of LGBTQ folks throughout the various universes, did not once again wish to burden himself with problems from worlds not of his own. Unloyal mentioned a particular journal that the soon-to-be King held that belonged to his late mother which Unloyal revealed was an alternate of them as well; the information was convincing enough that Onyx would want to read the contents of said journal should he could only obtain should he accept this task. Reluctantly Onyx agreed but warned Unloyal that he would kick his ass himself if this turned out to be bullshit! Having made up his mind to go to Earth 97 to meet with Prince "Unloyal calling him the soon-to-be King felt totally unnecessary but whatever". Of course before doing so, Onyx had used a technique called Psych Trace which allowed him to temporarily copy Unloyal's world jumping abilities. Bringing his best friend and right hand man, James Del Soto with him for both protection and company. The two of them would go to Earth 97 to meet with Prince Chiazam

Upon arriving to the foreign universe and after going through the proper channels. Both Onyx and James finally met face to face with Prince Chiazam, a tall and strong dark skin man dressed in regal red colored African attire. Shortly after Onyx and James would sit with Prince Chiazam in his private quarters and alongside the Prince was a butterscotch skinned muscular black male who were a similar outfit to Chiazam but purple instead of red. Without even having to rely on his telepathy, Onyx knew this man alongside Prince Chiazam was his lover. Chiazam's lover's name was Lolonyo. Unlike Prince Chiazam who possessed a domineering and prideful aura. His lover, Lolonyo possessed a strong but warm aura about him that made him seem very approachable. Onyx would have loved to get to know how they met and fallen in love but he wasn't here for such stories nor would he use his telepathy to invade their privacy. Because he already decided to alter the mind of Prince Chiazam's father, King Zuberi in order to ensure an easy transition of power for Chiazam. However Onyx was not acting off mere charity. Upon their discussion Onyx brought up the desire to have possession of Prince Chiazam's late mother's journal. Chiazam was stunned to see how much Onyx and his mother had resembled one another but he was equally surprised when he met Unloyal a few days prior. The Prince knew that Onyx wanted the journal in order to learn about his mother's knowledge concerning the ONYXVERSE. While heartbroken to have to part with the book his mother cherished. He understood that this was his part of the deal to ensure Onyx would deal with his bigoted father. In order that he can publicly be with Lolonya upon becoming King of his country. Onyx assured him that he'll take care of the journal and once he has absorbed the information with it. That he will someday return the book for Chiazam. In the meantime Onyx wished to return to his own world so set off to handle King Zuberi. Onyx told James to stay with the Prince and his lover until he returned. Shortly after completing his task by altering King Zuberi's mind on homosexuality. Onyx would use the remainder of Unloyal's powers and along with James and the journal return to his home world of Earth 135.

 PROFILE

"I once allowed my own hatred to dictate how I lived and viewed the world. While the anger within my soul gave me power it also led to my banishment from my homeland. Given a second chance by a half demon, a type of being that I once despised. I learned that it's important to not become consumed by hatred but instead make decisions based on logic not past traumas. I'm no longer bounded by my hate instead it's master" - Adewale Osefo

Name: Adewale Edu Osefo

Age: 381

Species: Human

Nationality: Nigerian

Height: 6'3

Weight: 237 Pounds

Hair Color: Black

Eye Color: Brown

Skin Color: Dark Brown

Powers: Aerokinesis

Adewale can make his winds stronger by activating his inner hatred which turns the color of his winds burning red almost resembling embers of fire. Adewale's tattoos also glows whenever he strengthens his wind.

Allies:

Likes: Exercise, lime flavored water, Banga Soup, his students, Soca Music, King Onyx.

Dislikes: Demons (only evil ones but once hated them all equally), bugs, being exiled from his homeland, Nigeria, cowards.

Backstory

Adewale Osefo, hailing from Nigeria, is a highly skilled magical practitioner of wind based magic. Adewale was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria alongside his older brother and younger sister. Adewale was the proud son of two powerful sages who were highly praised by Nigeria's then Ruler, King Jabbari and his daughter Princess Adama. Unfortunately, a tragedy all too common in the Mortal Realm would befall Adewale and his family. One night while coming home from a wedding, Adewale alongside his siblings and parents were attacked by a group of hungry demons. Adewale's parents did their best to use their magic to combat the demons while protecting their children. Unfortunately the demons had overwhelmed them and while Adewale was able to use his magic to defend both his younger sister and himself against the demons, their parents and older brother weren't as lucky as the demons had slain them. Filled with unimaginable rage, Adewale unleashed a powerful twister that ripped the demons to shreds. Such a display of power had terrified his sister, but Adewale was too consumed with rage to even notice his sister's terror. Eventually other sages arrived at the scene but the damage had already been done. The following day Adewale's younger sister would be adopted by another family and ended up moving to another part of Africa. Meanwhile Adewale would remain in his homeland and be raised at a local orphanage where he was taught to hone his skills along with basic education and proper caring. Unfortunately, that very night had transformed Adewale into a man consumed by rage and wishing destruction upon all demons and their variants.

Many years later much older and stronger since the passing of his parents and elder brother and the separation of his sister, Adewale served under Queen Adama Aliyu after the passing of her father, King Jabbari during The Five Year War. Adewale served alongside Rashawn and Vicet. While Adewale much preferred serving under King Jabbari over Queen Adama, due to aligning with the former King's way of ruling Nigeria over his daughter. Adewale accepted Adama as the ruler of his homeland and felt she ruled it with a solid mind and Nigeria's best interest always in mind. At least he felt that way until Queen Adama decided to remove a long withstanding law in Nigeria, the banning of demons of any kind on Nigerian grounds. This was mainly due to the Queen's newly found friendship with Mayland's current ruler, King Onyx who was a half demon and aided Nigeria during the events of The Five Year War after the demise of her father. In the first time in many years, Adewale felt a surge of anger in his heart like no other. Along with losing any respect he once held for King Jabbari's daughter, the only thing that kept Adewale in check was his loyalty to his homeland otherwise he would have attempted to kill Adama for allowing those vermin to now live among their--- HIS PEOPLE!

Despite the demons now freely living among the citizens of Nigeria, life did not change much; majority of the demons happily followed the laws of the land and integrated quite nicely among the non demonic Nigerian residents. Yet, that did nothing to quell that hatred Adewale held towards them nor regain any of the respect he lost long ago for Nigeria's current ruler. Adewale would then witness the birth of the Queen's first and perhaps only heir, Prince Trevyn Aliyu. His father was a man from Ghana that Adama had relations with a few months ago during a trip to the country. Trevyn was solely raised by his mother along with her many aides. Life continued as usual in Nigeria, but no matter how much time had passed, Adewale's hatred for the demon residents never ceased but instead grew by the day. Many years later, an unfortunate event would take place as a nearly adult Trevyn alongside two of his childhood friends would end up going missing, throwing the entirety of Nigeria into a panic. While The Queen didn't accuse anyone of her child's disappearance, she simply began to proper procedures to find her son dead or alive. Adewale  was convinced that it was one of the treacherous demons that undeserving lived amongst them. The disappearance of Nigeria's prince would be the catalyst for Adewale to finally revolt against Queen Adama's foolish ways and to cleanse his homeland of the vile demon denizens.

Adewale would begin his revolt by unleashing a series of devastating hurricanes throughout Nigeria, which caught the attention of Princess Hellin and her teammates who were sent to Nigeria under King Onyx's orders to find Prince Aliyu. Hellin and her team would find themselves faced off against Adewale. The sage immediately sensed that both Hellin and Orsela were demons and that alone drove him angry enough to engage the heroes in battle. Just before the battled could intensified further, Queen Adama with Rashawn and Vicet by her side would appear and the Queen to throw a golden needle into Adewale's neck, hitting a pressure point and knocking him unconscious. Eventually Hellin and her team would find Trevyn, deal with his captors, and bring him home to Queen Adama. While Adewale's stormy tantrum surprisingly caused no deaths within Nigeria, it did do severe damage to multiple infrastructures and most importantly disrespected Nigeria itself. Queen Adama could not look past Adewale's betrayal to her and Nigeria and decided to imprison him for his misdeeds and prepared to have him executed. Fortunately for Adewale, King Onyx was made aware of Queen Adama's plans for him and despite his disdain for his kind, Onyx couldn't allow himself to let Queen Adama see Adewale's execution through. King Onyx teleported to Nigeria and had a conversation with Nigeria's Queen in hopes of talking her out of executing Adewale. While understandably angered to have a non Nigerian interfere with Nigerian affairs, Queen Adama not only respected Onyx as a good friend, but felt she owed Onyx after knowing the role he played in order to bring her son, Trevyn back home to her. Adama would spare Adewale's life but in one condition. Onyx would have to take Adewale back with him to Mayland as Adewale may never step foot back into Nigeria as long as she remains Queen. Onyx would then visit Adewale in his holding cell and after some minor teasing, revealed to the Nigerian that he won't be executed after all but instead returns with him to Mayland.

Adewale was naturally heartbroken to learn that he had been banished from his homeland, but was thankful to receive a second chance and surprisingly at the kindness of a half demon. It was this moment that Adewale decided to hold himself accountable for his past actions and realizing his hatred for demons due to his childhood trauma made him act irrational to all demons, even those who have better morals than his fellow humans. Thanks to the unexpected kindness shown by Onyx, Adewale promised to hold himself accountable and no longer allow anger to dictate his every move. After starting a new life in New York, one of the seventy five states that make up Mayland. Adewale would teach at a high school in Manhattan training young sages how to properly wield their magic. While not a single day passes where he wishes he can return to his homeland, Adewale accepts that his exile is his proper punishment for his years of anger and not knowing when to let go. Keeping a promise not only to Onyx to be a good citizen in Mayland, Adewale vows to ensure to protect the new generation of sages from making the same mistake that he has made in the past

TRIVIA

1. Originally Adewale was going to be an elderly looking muscular man as described in my book FORBIDDEN. However since at the time of his initial creation. I decided to change a few things about him but keeping important details about him from the book intact

2. Adewale was bald when first introduced as an antagonist against Hellin and her teammates. Course over time he let his hair grow to how it looks currently in his official artwork

3. I once toyed with the idea of making Adewale a Darken (See Nara Asamura, Bain Vasques, and Gennifer Blix) but decided it would be more impactful to Adewale's story to keep him human

4. While the official artwork for Adewale came two years later compared to my other known wind users (Trickie, Da-Xia, Ajani) Adewale was in fact the first known Wind sage created for my FORBIDDEN series

5. While Adewale was considered an antagonist during his introduction in my book FORBIDDEN. Adewale was not deemed a "witch" due to the fact he was fully in control of his powers but only acted out a few hours prior to Hellin and her teams arrival to Nigeria

5. Adewale's initial design had him wearing a traditional dashiki but I decided to give him a more Urban model look for his official artwork. Mainly due that I didn't have faith in any of the artists I work with to draw him exactly how I imagine him thus went for something more simpler

6. Unlike previous profiles Adewale is intentionally missing the "allies" part to his bio. That is due to only really having King Onyx as an ally. The other heroes that are aware of him either dislike him or don't view him as an ally. However they maybe future characters introduced to my series that will consider Adewale an ally

Elisa's Thoughts - I think the main takeaway of Adewale's story is that the grudges don't always lead to healing. The more you hold onto the hurt, the more you hurt yourself. You can take the trauma you hold onto and form yourself into a walking shell of pain or learn to grow before it's too late.

Backstory

Kira - Over one hundred thousand years ago during an older era of Japan, there lived a highly skilled kunoichi (female ninja) named Kira who was a member of the Harukawa Clan. Respected by her peers for her skills and dedication, Kira was once an orphan girl taken in by the clan's leader Kazuya who raised her alongside his son, Gaku and his other young shinobis in training. Over the years, Kira and Gaku developed romantic feelings for one another but there was something about Kira that Gaku secretly despised. The sole child of the Great Shinobi Kazuya detested how much his father would praise Kira for her ninja skills and yet simply viewed his son no different from the typical ninja among their clan. The comparisons made it hard for Gaku to fully love Kira due to his father's words constantly antagonizing his mind. Many years have passed and Kira had only improved with age, Kazuya's admiration for his prize student only grew. On the opposite end of the spectrum with Gaku, while his skills improved he had not reached the level of skills of Kira no matter how hard he tried. The mere idea and realization ate away at him and began his desire to eliminate his father.

While Kira continued having good faith in her lover, the skilled kunoichi remained unaware of his impeding schemes against the clan. Returning from her latest mission, Kira was horrified to witness one of the rival ninja clans attacking and killing her fellow Harukawa Clan members. Immediately, Kira went to look for Master Kazuya and Gaku to ensure their safety. Upon finding her Master and her lover, Kira witnessed the unthinkable as she spotted Gaku with the enemy ninjas having fatally wounded Master Kazuya. Kira ran over to her Master's side while giving her now former lover a disapproving glare. Gaku offers to spare Kira if she abandons the Harukawa Clan and joins him. Kira simply turns her attention off of him and Gaku deems her unfit to live as the orders his new allies to set his father's home on fire. Ember flames engulf the home, burning both Master Kazuya and Kira inside of it. Despite Kazuya's pleas, Kira refused to abandon him and instead performed a technique that would make themselves immune to the pain of being burned alive. Dying by her Master's side, Kira swore that she will make treacherous beings such as Gaku pay for their transgressions

Tsubame - Many centuries later some time after the events of The Five Year War, a young girl named Tsubame was born in Osaka, Japan. Tsubame was taught at a young age by her mother to learn healing magic. After finishing college and following her mother's footsteps in becoming a school nurse, in her college days Tsubame met a young man named Kenichi and the two began dating before getting married. A few years into their marriage, Tsubame became pregnant with their child, Shoma. The two would end up drifting apart which led to them getting a divorce. Despite living in a world of sages, witches, beasterians, goblins, demons, and other otherwordly beings, Tsubame was as close as normal as one could possibly be in such a unique world. A loving single parent to her son, a school nurse admired by all those around her, and of course a child who made both of her parents proud. However one night while on her way home after shopping for her son's 15th birthday the following day, things would be different, things would change.

Tsubame lost track of time and ended up missing her 8:15 bus towards home. Fortunately the weather was nice and the bags in her possession weren't heavy. Thus she opted to walk home which was only a forty minute walk at worst. However, Tsubame was unaware a malicious demon had targeted her to make her it's meal. While demon attacks on humans have severely decreased over the centuries due to many demons wanting better relations with mortals and vice versa, there were always demons that viewed humans like Tsubame as prey and nothing more. Finding herself alone crossing a small bridge, no one in sight and her pepper spray in hand just in case. Tsubame felt confident she could cross the bridge without any issues then arrive home within the next 8 minutes. At that very moment a brownish-red colored demon leapt onto the bridge and startled Tsubame, causing her to fall on her back. Terrified the woman found herself unable to move, but she didn't want to die especially in such a gruesome manner. She didn't bother anyone, always lived an honest life and more importantly she was a mother; she had a son she needed to get home to take care of. While the demon menacingly began to approach Tsubame ready to devour her, a vengeful spirit had suddenly entered Tsubame's body and immediately took control of her. The spirit who possessed great ninja based magic had transformed Tsubame from a meek school nurse into a vexing Kunoichi.

While the demon was surprised by the sudden transformation, his desire to devour her remained. The demon charged at Tsubame, but the woman proved to be even faster than him. Immediately the two of them engaged in combat. Despite the demon's best efforts to defeat and kill the woman, Tsubame's vast ninja skills proved too much and slayed the demon within minutes. Afterwards, Tsubame was no longer under the vengeful spirit's influence and reverted back to her normal self and clothing. Memories flashing behind her eyes and Tsubame remembered what had happened as she saw the dismembered body of the demon with its heart being burnt to a crisp. Instead of concerning herself further by the actions that happened moments ago, Tsubame grabs her son's gift and returns home immediately. While her son's fifteenth birthday went off without a hitch, ever since the fateful night on the bridge, Tsubame's life had changed forever. Due to now sharing her body with a vengeful kunoichi from the Japan of old--even worse every night whenever Shoma had fallen asleep--the spirit would take over Tsubame's body and would hunt down various evildoers throughout Japan with zero regards to its host body. Tsubame plans on finding out how to deal with the spirit that has taken residence inside her body in due time, but being a mother and working takes priority. Furthermore while this is not the ideal life Tsubame had ever saw for herself, had the spirit not possessed her that very night when the demon had attacked her, Tsubame would not be able to come home to her son. That alone makes her grateful for the spirit that lives inside of her

TRIVIA

1. The earlier concept of Tsubame was going to have her be a teacher during the day then a vicious assassin at night. Which was due to having a split personality. However I decided I wanted to perhaps use that concept for a different character. Thus a new backstory was developed for Tsubame

2. Tsubame's design was inspired by how the female characters dressed in Queen's Blade. Wearing very little but being extremely capable fighters

3. While developing a new backstory for Tsubame. I wanted to keep her core personality as a modest Japanese woman but having a killer edge. That's when I came up with Kira, the vengeful spirit that possessed Tsubame. Thus Tsubame maintains her good woman persona while Kira represented the ruthless killer

4, Tsubame would probably not have been given official artwork until 2025 but thanks for my supporters on my YouTube channel "Akame's Despair" and "Miss Otaku" for voting for Tsubame. It gave her the green light to be commissioned sooner than I originally planned

5. Tsubame is my first fully Japanese Shinobi/Kunoici character. My previous ninja character is Bevan but Bevan is Japanese/Brazilian from his mother's side and Bolivian from his father's side. Meanwhile Tsubame has both Japanese parents and was born and raised in Japan

Elisa's Thoughts - Reminds me a lot of the Mishima family bloodline in Tekken, except way more death and betrayal. Kira somewhat like Jun Kazama, the unfortunate casualty of the "daddy didn't love me enough" trope.
