STORY: Da-Xia and Eaton are childhood friends turned lovers. Upon meeting each other seventeen years ago, each other's magical abilities were triggered, which was only the beginning of cementing their eternal bond. Da-Xia is the son of the famous Taiwanese actress, Prina Zhao, who during her vacation in France had a one night stand with a French sage. Shortly afterwards, Prina discovered she was pregnant as she was headed back home to Taiwan to stay with her mother for the next few years. Prina had contemplated having an abortion since she wasn't keen on raising a fatherless child. However, between her mother's stern words and the fact that Prina was very wealthy, the actress changed her mind and decided to have her son whom she named Da-Xia. Growing up, Da-Xia enjoyed the luxuries of any privileged child. He not only had his mother and grandmother to raise him, but also a live-in nanny.
A few years later while playing at the park with his nanny in attendance, as the nanny chatted on her phone with her family, a group of young boys began pestering Da-Xia, who became increasingly annoyed by their presence. Before the situation escalated, a young boy named Eaton stepped in and chased the kids away. Eaton was the son of a local priest by the name of Lucas who was very well-respected within the community. Eaton represented his father well by having the same mannerisms and helping those in need. The two boys felt a powerful connection upon locking eyes with each other. They knew from that day forward they wouldn't be able to live without each other and planned on finding a way to be together. That very night when Da-Xia returned home to his mother and grandmother, the young boy began exhibiting signs of magic as he began creating fire and wind with the simplest of hand movements. Prina was shocked seeing her son do such things since she'd never taken him to any sage to learn magic. That's when they all realized that Da-Xia was a Natural (a Natural is an individual born with magic and not one who is taught it). Going over the events that happened in the park with her son, Prina was determined to find this Eaton kid since she was quite certain he had something to do with her son's magical awakening.
That very night, Prina and Da-Xia went to visit Lucas and his son, Eaton, at the church to discuss the situation. Shortly after the two parents became acquainted, Prina learned from Lucas that Eaton had also displayed a sudden usage of magical abilities that allowed him to create water and minerals from out of thin air. Meanwhile, Da-Xia and Eaton met each other once again and upon locking eyes, the two boys' eye colors had changed from the typical brown colored eyes that Taiwanese people usually have. Da-Xia's right eye changed to gray and his left eye scarlet. Eaton's right eye changed to beige and his left eye cerulean. Realizing not only were both of their children Naturals but that they triggered each other's magical abilities, Prina and Lucas were now tasked with raising their magical sons. They also realized that their sons were about to become an inseparable duo. Each day after school, Eaton would leave from his public school to pick up Da-Xia, who went to private school. Da-Xia hated going to private school because he wanted to be with Eaton all the time. Eventually, after numerous complaints to his mother and grandmother, Da-Xia was transferred out of private school so he could attend the same public school as Eaton. The two boys continued enjoying their time together as they practiced their magical talents every day after school under Lucas's supervision.
One day after coming home from hanging out with Eaton and Lucas, Da-Xia received news that his mother had ended her break from acting and she would be taking on a new movie role, which required her to leave Taiwan as the movie was being filmed in Japan. Suffice to say, Da-Xia was not happy with this news since he knew he would have to leave Taiwan and go with his mother to Japan. At first, Prina had no intention of giving into her son's complaints as she fully intended to return to the life of acting. Yet, when she met with Lucas to let him know that she was going to Japan and taking Da-Xia with her, Lucas explained to her that Eaton had become depressed that Da-Xia was moving away and asked the actress if they could come to some sort of arrangement where she can go work in Japan while Da-Xia remained in Taiwan. Realizing that her son would be absolutely miserable if he ended up going to Japan with her, Prina decided to leave Da-Xia in Lucas's care and made certain that Lucas would have him call her on the regular. Prina also made sure to send Lucas money through MoneyMagic (an app to send money) to continuously support her child even while far away. Prina would instead take her mother with her while leaving Da-Xia in the care of Lucas and Eaton. Years went by as Eaton and Da-Xia's bond grew stronger.
One day after finishing his fifth period class in high school, Da-Xia spotted Eaton talking to a girl who had given him a snack box (a snack box is given by a woman to a man she is romantically pursuing). Immediately, this caused him great jealousy as he feared Eaton would fall in love with the girl and abandon him. Da-Xia went the rest of the day avoiding Eaton, which confused the latter since they normally hung out as often as possible when their schedules didn't conflict. After school, Eaton made certain to confront Da-Xia as he pulled him away to somewhere private. Da-Xia reluctantly explained to Eaton that he saw him talking to a girl who had given him a snack box. Da-Xia didn't like that someone was pursuing Eaton since he had secretly developed romantic feelings toward him. Eaton angrily revealed that the girl who spoke to him earlier wasn't pursuing him but Da-Xia instead. She didn't have the courage to give the snack box to him, which was why she gave the box to Eaton. Despite keeping his composure while talking to the girl, Eaton felt furious on the inside knowing that someone was interested in Da-Xia, realizing that the two of them were in love with each other. Da-Xia and Eaton embraced and began making out, having started off as close friends and transitioning into lovers. Concerned that their relationship would not be well-received by those around them because many of their associates viewed the duo as brothers despite no blood relation, Da-Xia convinced Eaton to start a new life with him in Malaysia. Not wanting to let their parents know about their future plans, the two found work shortly after finishing high school to make their own money until they saved up enough to leave Taiwan. Meanwhile, they continued dating privately. Whenever Lucas wasn't around, the two of them unleashed their inner lust for each other. Eventually they saved enough money and the two young men bade Lucas farewell. They promised to keep in contact with Lucas and call him on the regular. Luckily, Lucas wouldn't be alone since he had hired an assistant named Meiying. Da-Xia also called his mother, who was filming a project in Mayland, and told her he was going to live in Malaysia.
A few days after arriving in Malaysia as the two young men settled in, they went for a walk in order to familiarize themselves with the area. They spotted a Spaniard woman with auburn hair and dressed in yellow and black being confronted by a group of mischievous individuals. While the two really didn't want to get involved, their morals would not allow them to leave a woman in distress. They used their combined magical powers and defeated the individuals, only to discover that the woman didn't need their assistance. Nevertheless, the woman thanked them and introduced herself as Gabrielle Labarga, a Treasure Hunter hailing from Spain. Gabrielle then offered Da-Xia and Eaton to join her in becoming Treasure Hunters as well. The two lovers took a few moments to think things over but since neither of them really had thought things through upon arriving to Malaysia and knowing that Treasure Hunters made good money, the two decided to join Gabrielle and thus began the formation of TEAM SHOCK.

STORY: Keisha Lovell, aka: Setback, is a young black Maladian (a name for citizens born in Mayland) woman who specializes in espionage. Raised solely by her father, Gerald, because her mother had died while on a mission just a few months after giving birth to her, Keisha enjoyed a relatively normal childhood. Her father made certain to raise her to understand the importance of independence. By the time Keisha was thirteen, she knew more about having to survive in the world than most kids her age. She was also taught by her father how to hack computers and gather intel on various individuals. Two days after her fifteenth birthday, Keisha's father decided that his daughter was more than capable of living on her own because he wanted to reunite with his former guidemates who he had to leave years ago in order to raise his daughter. Although sad to no longer have her father around, Keisha was up to the task of living on her own, especially since she had the means of making money both legally and illegally.
Years later, while living in New York and attending college in Brooklyn, Keisha enlisted in her local Hero Syndicate, an organization that gave various missions throughout Mayland dependent upon skill level and numbers, if they were a group. Keisha only had herself and didn't possess any magical abilities. Instead, she used manmade weaponry. Using the self-given codename, Setback, Keisha was often given D and C ranked assignments because the Hero Syndicate didn't want to task her with assignments that were too dangerous for a young human who used neither magic nor had allies to work with. While Setback handled all of her various assignments from the Syndicate with ease as well as college life with no issues, the young woman became furious with her tedious assignments and wanted a mission that would truly put her skills to the test. Knowing the H.S. wouldn't willingly give her an assignment higher than a C rank, Setback knew she had to take matters into her own hands in order to truly show her capabilities.
One day while taking a day off from class, Keisha went to a local library and hacked into the computer system of the H.S. She gave herself an A-ranked mission. Despite the dangers of such a mission, Setback was confident she could hold her own. After all, she was smarter than most beings in the mortal realm and her trusted twin pistols "Mark" and "Vee" were always at her side. Having successfully completed her personal task, Setback prepared herself for her first A-ranked assignment. She traveled to a warehouse in Ariso. The place was heavily guarded by henchmen of the mobster named Trevor Li. Despite the odds being against her, the young woman believed with her intellect and weapon usage she'd overcome whatever obstacles awaited her. Everything was going smoothly until one of Mr. Li's goons, who possessed sensory magic, discovered her. Backup arrived on the scene seconds later. Despite her best efforts to get out of dodge, Setback was captured by one of Li's henchmen who possessed ice magic. Thrown into a basement in the warehouse, Mr. Li intended to use Setback for one of his many unethical experiments. Fortunately, the veteran bounty hunter, August Starfinder, along with his mysterious associate from India named Vritra, were on the scene. The two of them also had been seeking out the mobster in order to take him down for good. Thanks to their combined skills and abilities, Starfinder and Vritra defeated Mr. Li and his men and found and rescued Setback.
The two experienced heroes quickly realized that the girl lacked the experience for such a high level assignment. That prompted them to find out how she ended up being tasked with an A-ranked mission. Learning that Setback hacked her way into the H.S. system, Vritra immediately wanted to hand the girl over to the authorities. Starfinder intervened on Setback's behalf and managed to convince Vritra to let him deal with the hacker. Shortly afterwards, August began training Setback by taking her on various missions with him regardless if they were A or D ranked. He showed her the various dangers and how to properly engage each and every one of them. Starfinder also knew that as a non-magic user, she would have to sometimes rely on fighting alongside others to make up for the abilities she lacked. Setback marvelously completed her training with Starfinder, and he felt confident enough to not have her tag along with him on most of his assignments. The two remained in contact for both business and personal reasons. Using the knowledge she gained throughout the years, Setback would eventually become a spy. She would be hired by various influential beings throughout the mortal realm. She would aid her clients in various tasks in order for them to keep their hands clean. Setback didn't mind as long as they paid well and dared not to cross her.

STORY: Utakata Affogato is the son of a Japanese woman and a Polish man. Born in Osaka, Japan, at the age five, Utakata and his folks moved to Mayland and resided in Ariso, one of the seventy-five States within the country of Mayland. Growing up, his father taught him how to use coffee magic and his mother trained him in using his chi energy. As Utakata grew older, after school he would assist his father in running their coffee shop, "Toot Toot Affogato". Utakata loved working alongside his father. Not only did he improve his magical prowess, but he also created unique coffee drinks. One day he arrived at his father's coffee shop after school and was surprised to see his uncle working with his father. Learning that his uncle was having a tough time in his native country, Utakata's parents aided his uncle in leaving Poland and coming to live in Mayland. While Utakata's father seemed to genuinely enjoy having his younger brother working with him in the shop, Utakata felt leary about his uncle because he believed him to be an untrustworthy individual.
Years later, while Utakata was on a date with a beautiful Elvin woman, he received a phone call from his mother that his father had been killed. Horrified by the news, the lad slipped into an emotional frenzy. He arrived at the police station to try and find out who was responsible for his father's death. Unfortunately, the detectives had no clue who killed his father. They were only certain he was murdered because of the evidence. Utakata remembered overhearing an argument between his father and uncle a few days prior to his father's death. He immediately knew who killed his father. Instead of alerting the authorities, the grief-stricken lad took matters into his own hands.
The next day, Utakata opened the coffee shop an hour earlier than normal. He asked his uncle to meet him there to discuss his father's untimely death and how to run the business without him. Unaware of his nephew's true intentions, the uncle arrived at the shop in his usual calm demeanor. Utakata served his uncle his favorite beverage, a macchiato. The two began discussing business before changing the conversation to his father's death. He noticed how uncomfortable his uncle became, along with his guilty eye movements. Utakata was certain he made the right decision in killing his uncle. Having mixed cane toad poison in his uncle's beverage, a sinister look appeared on his face as his uncle began reacting to the poison. Shortly after the poison took affect and killed his uncle, Utakata called the cops on himself and admitted to his crime before being arrested. Upon his sentence of fifty-five years to life, Utakata apologized to his mother for what he had done. He told her to go back to Japan to get away from all the drama that had transpired.
Utakata would only serve five of the fifty-five years before he was miraculously released from jail by a mysterious benefactor. Utakata would meet his unexpected savior, a man named Naazim the Chimera. Naazim was a dark-skinned man dressed in a cobalt blue business suit. He was the offspring of a half- human and half-demon mother, a Cambion, and a half-beasterian and fairy father. Having heard about Utakata's story and how he ended up in prison, Naazim knew despite his malice actions, Utakata was indeed a good man. However, Naazim did not free Utakata from prison simply out of the kindness of his heart. He demanded Utakata join his league of Witches, which consisted of members of powerful individuals who were good people who had done awful things in their lives. Not too fond of the idea of being a "hero", Utakata felt morally bound to repay his debt to Naazim. Thus, he decided to join Naazim and his recruits in protecting the mortal realm from powerful threats. Shortly afterwards, Utakata reopened his father's business. Because of his obligations to Naazim, Utakata hired trustworthy individuals to help run the newly reopened "Toot Toot Affogato". That allowed him to work alongside his partner, Monique Sulfur, in tackling the various assignments Naazim gave them.

Powers: Jude possesses access to demonic based abilities thanks to his special bond with his nephew, Caden. In reality the powers Jude uses belong to Caden
Backstory: Born and raised in the Dominican Republic, Jude lived a relatively normal life and avoided those with magic since he's had a dislike for magic ever since childhood. After College, Jude would work as an editor for a local Newspaper company and enjoyed his uneventful life. However it all changed when he received a phone call from his sister, Delilah. Upon visiting his sister, Jude was shocked that not only was his sister pregnant, but Delilah was minutes away from giving birth to her half demon child. Due to having had unprotected sex with a demon she met in Martinique, Jude assisted Delilah in giving birth to her baby which would be either his niece or nephew. Upon the baby exiting his sister's womb, Jude felt an unexplained but instant connection with his nephew. Jude would then clean up and lay his nephew down on the couch before discussing the situation with his sister. After a long talk, Jude would decide to stay the night in order to go with his sister and nephew to the local hospital. However while Jude was resting in bed, Delilah began to plotting the murder of her newborn baby. Knowing that despite being part demon that it takes over a month before a demon's regenerative abilities are properly active and even slower for that of a half demon, Delilah planned on beheading her baby and planned on lying to Jude that her infant had attempted to kill her.
Unfortunately right as Delilah was making her move to kill her baby. Jude had awoken and was horrified to witness his sister holding a knife above his nephew's body. Instinctively, Jude charged at his older sister and the two began to wrestle for control of the knife. Accidentally Jude had slit his sister's throat just as his nephew awoken from his sleep. While mortified for having unintentionally murdered his sister, Jude turned his attention to his nephew. Fearing that if he explained what happened to the authorities that they wouldn't believe him and he would go to prison, Jude did his best to rid of the evidence of his sister's murder that he could before taking Caden. Caden, a name he had given to his nephew, and himself left the DR. Fortunately there was a demon dressed in purple with unique yellow hair who was aware of the situation and had made Delilah's death look like a suicide. Jude with Caden would move to Mayland where he would start a new life together with his half demon (Cambion) nephew. Due to the unique bond Jude had developed with Caden, he would end up gaining an evil eye tattoo right beneath his clavicle as well as obtaining darkness based powers. Jude uses his newfound abilities to protect Caden from danger until he's old to protect himself.

Skill Set Explanation
1. Condemn: Angelina quickly spins her yo-yo "Aisyn The Brave" before striking her opponent. Angelina can either strike forward or diagonal
2. Backfire: Angelina spins her yo-yo in front of her like a shield. While doing this she is able to reflect any projectile back to it's user
3. Sky Drill (In Air): Angelina surrounds her lower body in magical energy that takes the shape of a drill. Angelina uses this attack to strike a grounded opponent
4. Grand Cannon: Angelina summons a small but powerful canon that shoots out a magical fireball at her target
5. Starstruck: Angelina envelopes her left leg in magical energy as she performs a standing slash attack
6. Aurora Revolution: Angelina swiftly leaps into the air spinning her body in a 360 motion. While doing so she unleashes her yo-yo which spins in a 360 motion as well. Angelina unleashes an icy attack from her magical weapon
DIVINE RUINATION
1. Harajuku Blitz - Angelina takes a small leap into the air as she summons her yo-yo into her hand. Transforming her yo-yo to become ten times its size. Angelina unleashes her weapon towards her target and strikes them multiple times
2. Summon Roberto - Angelina summons her teddy bear companion Roberto to fight alongside her. While Roberto is fighting alongside Angelina. The giant bear can do the following attacks
- Swiftly strike with his clawed hand
- Perform a powerful strike with his stomach
- Unleashing a magenta colored energy beam from his mouth
- Grab Angelina's opponent and throw them into the air

Skill Set Explanation
1. Spark Pulse: Jesica releases a powerful cosmic blast from her palms towards her target
2. Break Out: Jesica performs a speedy elbow strike followed by a blast of cosmic energy from her other hand
3. Tri Meteor: Jesica throws a fiery cosmic ball into the air. Seconds later the cosmic ball breaks into three cosmic fireballs that targets Jesica's opponent
4. Starry Dance: Jesica spins her body into the air surrounding herself in cosmic energy. Spinning in air Jesica performs a multi hitting dance like attack
5. Hologram (Not Included In Above Drawing): Jesica creates an illusion of herself in order to trick her opponent
DIVINE RUINATION
Raging Star: Gathering a great amount of cosmic energy. Jesica charges towards her target with a speedy fist strike infused in fiery cosmic energy. Jesica strikes her opponent multiple times on the ground before performing a devastating uppercut to end her assault
