BIO

Sonia Angela Brightwood is the daughter of Gerald and Tatiana Brightwood, and is descended from Mayland's 79th Ruler, King Adrian. King Adrian was known for ridding Mayland of cars upon becoming ruler, which in turn brought Riders back into business and gave an increase of importance to other forms of transportation. Raised with her brother, Roman, both siblings endured a strict upbringing by their parents, and already had their futures planned out for them before they were even old enough to make a choice. Following in their father's footsteps, both Sonia and Roman trained themselves in their family magic in order to prepare for the army upon reaching legal age. Sonia enrolled in the army at the age of 18 with Roman following behind her two years later. Thanks to the stern upbringing both Brightwood siblings received, military life proved very easy to adjust to, whether it was the short shower times, daily exercises, or preparation for war. The first few years of army life proved relatively tame and at times enjoyable. 

Unbeknownst to many, a hateful god named Akodomal, along with his cohorts, intended to wipe out all life on the Mortal Realm. Akodomal made his declaration of war against all life on the Mortal Realm, which brought about the start of an event known as The Five Year War. Sonia and her brother as well as other soldiers prepared for war as Akodomal and his subordinates ended up hitting Mayland the hardest, along with China, Plutonia, Russia, Nigeria, Britain, and France. No part of the Mortal Realm was spared Akodomal's wrath. Thus, a lot of countries banded together to take out a major threat to their very existence. 

During The Five Year War, Sonia commanded a team and fought bravely against various witches and demons that fell under Akodomal's command. Their biggest challenge was battling creatures known as Hazard Dolls. Hazard Dolls were giant sized stuffed animal-like monsters with various parts of their body oozing acid. These monsters were responsible for many deaths during the war, which included many of Sonia's subordinates. Thankfully, Sonia and her brother survived the war as Akodomal eventually met his demise at the hands of several heroes that included Hellin Strongs, King Onyx, Queen Adama Aliyu, Russian President Pavel, China's Emperor Hui and his daughter, Wu, alongside many other heroes from around the globe.

With the war finally behind them, Sonia decided to retire as a soldier and find her own path in life while Roman went home to his parents who, despite their strictness, did love their kids. However, unlike Roman, who understood his parents logic in raising them, Sonia resented her parents and felt no need to return to them and that they would be fine without her. Sonia took solo assignments available from Mayland's Hero Syndicate. Sonia did this until one day the Hero Syndicate asked her if she would consider becoming a leader of her own guild. At first, Sonia did not want to be bothered commanding a team since the fear of losing comrades still weighed heavily on her mind even many years after the war had ended. However, after being requested to work alongside two young sages named Haven Greenmore and Macy Warden, Sonia changed her mind and led a guild of sages consisting of Haven, Macy, herself, and a few others that came to be known as TEAM CYPRINE.

1. Sonia is inspired by Mortal Kombat character Sonya Blade.

2. The main inspiration that Sonia received from Sonya Blade was a military background. Everything else from design to abilities is all original.

3. Sonia along with her brother and mother are direct descendants of Mayland's 79th ruler, King Adrian Darkfall.

4. Sonia possesses cosmic-themed powers like characters such as Arancini Renzo, Jesica Starry, and Star Moollisan. However, unlike those three characters whose powers are more inspired by the cosmos itself, Sonia's powers are specifically related to the planet Mars and the Vesta asteroid.

5. Sonia is one of the tallest female humans in Earth 135.

6. Sonia is a very muscular woman who has D-cup sized breasts; however, from the back Sonia is often mistaken for a man with long hair. It doesn't bother her when strangers confuse her for the opposite sex. Instead, she chuckles a bit upon seeing their reaction that she is a woman.
