Powers: Nara is a user of the magical ability known as "Aya's Gift". He also wields demonic-like powers because he was transformed into a Darken by his stepfather. Nara's gift abilities are as follows:

1. Cold Zap - Nara's eyes turn from brown to cerulean as he is able to manipulate electricity with a chilling after effect

2. Mind Reader - Nara's eyes turn from brown to lavender as he's able to read minds and is sometimes able to foresee his targets next move

3. Negative Zone -Nara's eyes turn from brown to Eminence (a shade of purple) and gains the ability to manipulate gravity 

4. Darken State - Upon unleashing his Darken powers, Nara gains demonic abilities such as strength, durability, speed, stamina. Nara can even access all of his gift abilities at the same time. However, the longer Nara uses his Darken powers the more unstable he becomes

BIO: 

A native of the country of Hawaii and of the Aya Tribe, Nara is the son of Sarael and Vima Asamura. Unfortunately, his mother died in a battle against Witches when Nara was only five. Nara was raised by his father until his dad remarried a demon named Otis. Nara lived a relatively happy life until a few days before his fourteenth birthday. On his way home from school with friends, Nara saw a group of civilians being targeted by three individuals who gave off bad vibes. He remembered how it was those type of people who caused his mother's death so many years earlier. Having ignored the warning from his friends, Nara ditched them in order to aid the endangered civilians. Upon confronting the mischievous individuals who were harassing the civilians, the young lad engaged them in battle. While Nara most certainly had tenacity, he lacked the experience to combat such threats on his own, which led him to be severely injured by one of the three individuals. He slowly began bleeding to death from his injuries. Fortunately, Nara's parents were in the area and upon discovering what had happened to their son, Sarael and Otis rushed to Nara's aid. Immediately, Sarael became frantic upon seeing his son slowly dying before his eyes. Knowing that his husband would not survive the emotional toll of losing another loved one, Otis performed the Darken Ritual which transformed Nara from an ordinary human into a demon-like being. Having been successfully transformed into a Darken, the injuries Nara sustained during battle healed thanks to the demon-like durability he now possessed.

Years later as an adult and because of proper training from his parents, Nara was able to use his powers effectively and keep his Darken powers under control... mostly. Unfortunately, tragic deaths had taken place of a Chinese detective in Hawaii along with several other locals being slain. Shortly afterwards, a woman named Jia Xiaoyu and her demon companion, Apollyn, traveled to Hawaii to investigate the death of the detective who was one of Xiaoyu's colleagues back in their homeland. Wanting to know who was behind the killings, Nara aided the women. Together the three of them worked to find the killer. During their time together, Nara developed romantic feelings towards Xiaoyu, and, fortunately, she would feel the same towards him in time. After finding the killer and avenging her comrade's death, Xiaoyu, Nara, and Apollyn would become a three-person guild who used their abilities to solve various strange cases around the globe.

TRIVIA

1. Nara was originally going to be another LGBTQ character in FORBIDDEN, bisexual to be exact. However, I felt I had enough characters at the time that were LGBTQ so I decided to make Nara heterosexual

2. Nara is dating Jia Xiaoyu

3. Nara is from Hawaii thus making him a Pacific Islander. Also it's worth noting that Hawaii is it's own country in FORBIDDEN and not a part of Mayland

4. Nara was the first Darken character I created for FORBIDDEN

5. Nara's default eye color is brown, but they change color depending on what ability he uses in battle

6. To make up for making Nara straight, I made his father, Sarael, a bisexual man 

7. Nara loves playing fighting games when he's not working with his girlfriend and Apollyn

8. Nara wants to challenge King Onyx in a battle
